How to get started using MegaFeeder

Setting up your store in MegaFeeder

    Three simple steps...
    1.Enter your store name in the first field.
    2. Enter your website url into the second field
         Example: http://yourstorename.com
    3. Enter what folder to save your feeds on your computer into the third field.

Entering products into MegaFeeder

First click the "Add Product" button.  To make it easier to see what information is required, please click the "Froogle" button the bottom of the page.

On the Description tab, put in the product name and description as it is on your website.  You will notice the field  is highlighted  in a rose color.  This tells you that these are required fields

On the URL tab, click select and browse to the product's page.  It will always begin at the homepage that you put in as your website url.

On the Price/Shipping tab, enter in the required fields based on the color.

At this point, you can add a product, or copy.  Copy is especially useful since you can then simply adjust the small differences in the description of your various products.

Creating product feeds using MegaFeeder

Enter in your FTP information, username and password.  Leave your Temp Location C:\ he product's.   See the Froogle settings below.


                   



Once this has been entered, then it is as simple as clicking "Create Feed" then "Upload Feed" 

If for some reason the feed fails, check your settings and be sure that they are EXACTLY as they are with your shopping search engine. 

Also, Froogle will only accept updates about once a day.  If the feed fails, it is probably because you have already uploaded a feed the same day.
